ARCO Arquitectura Contemporánea designed Casa LC, an imposing contemporary residence located in Ciudad de México, México. According to the architects, the site is located in a privileged area, surrounded by a beautiful landscape with a golf course. The main entrance is marked by a corridor of water, which creates an original welcome for visitors and inhabitants as well. The interior features generous double-height spaces, combined with large windows on both facades, providing excellent lighting and views. The staircase leads to a bridge that separates the public and private spaces of the house. Towards one end of the bridge is the living room; the other side leads to the rooms of the children and the rest of the bedrooms. The composition of shapes, materials and great contemporary design are at the basis of this house which combines harmony, sensitivity and warmth.
